NOTE: This issue only applies to PinPoint 2.997F and earlier. If you are using PinPoint 3.0 (cloud users updated on May 16, 2017), make sure to uninstall all previous versions and download Dynamic Web TWAIN 12.3.1. Dynamic Web TWAIN 12.3.1 uses an SHA-2 certificate, and you will not need to follow the instructions below after a successful installation of the new version.
Security updates to Google Chrome (included in v57) and Mozilla Firefox (included in v53) stopped the support by default for SHA-1 certificates, which includes Dynamsoft 11. The result is that the Dynamsoft driver installed will not be recognized on your computer - the popup to install the driver will come up every time a document is loaded and you will not be able to scan into PinPoint.
